I thought that Miles would dig a pair of binoculars since they have come up in a couple of picture books lately, but after the initial surprise factor, he isn’t that into these. BUT! Maybe your kid will like them!
Two toilet paper rolls (obviously), held together with a rubber band. Cover the rubber band with a strip of paper glued tight (the rubber band holds the paper in place). Poke two holes for the length of yarn and voila.
You could get fancy and decorate the toilet paper tubes, but I warn you… your kid may not even play with the darn thing.
This is my kind of craft project: super simple. Thanks for sharing! Isla would just destroy these, but I’ll keep them in mind for when she’s a little older.
Oh yes, that’s another little hiccup. Julius would also rip these to shreds so I have to hide them most of the time!
