I drew this birth announcement for Jen, one of my internet friends and an amazing, sweet (and funny!) person whose baby boy was born at only 25 weeks gestation. Ryan is a little baby superstar and is growing strong in the NICU at Children’s Hospital of Orange County in California. He’s a cutie who looks so much like his big sister, and his parents have been so strong through his NICU journey that I just had to give them a little shout.

In October the Apreas are walking in the CHOC Walk in the Park at Disneyland to help raise money to open a new patient tower at the Children’s Hospital. If you’d like to support their team you can donate here!
