I drew this 8×10 family portrait for Lisa Morguess, who writes Life As I Know It, a personal blog about her family, and Turn the Page, a book review blog. I really enjoy her personal blog about life with seven kids – she’s an honest mama who doesn’t sugar coat the hard stuff. And I just found out about the book blog, have to check that out too, as if I need more titles on my reading list.

The drawing was a gift for Lisa from Tricia, who writes Unringing the Bell, and is also my cousin – have I told that story yet? I really should, sometime….
