I’m pretty busy this week with card orders (that’s a good thing!) so I leave you with this, my new favorite picture of Miles. This was Day 2 of what’s become a four day nap strike… hoping to break the streak this afternoon! I’m not above bringing in some scabs to take over nap duties. Wait, that doesn’t work. Damn.
I don’t want to jinx you, but Kirsten stopped taking naps two months after Anni was born. I tried for another month or so to get her to nap, but resistance was futile–the kid was done with naps. At 2.5 yrs old. May your experience NOT be the same as mine. :\
What Kristine said. I hope this is NOT your experience; but Sam stopped naps about 2 months after Jack was born. Maybe his way of ensuring that he got Momma all to himself? Maybe he was truly ready to be done. (my answer depends on the day) Sam still takes the occasional nap here and there.
In surprising good news, bedtimes have become a breeze, and I know that will make you happy
As in start bedtime at 6:30, asleep most nights by 7!
I think we are still safe… broke the streak yesterday with a BIG long nap. He had a nasty cold for a few days so that must have been it. Whew!
