Over the weekend we went to a pool party at the home of Mike’s former coworker. In my haste to pack supplies I forgot a swimsuit for me, but the boys went in. As soon as Miles saw the pool he made a beeline for it and would have climbed in fully dressed… once in, he wouldn’t get out. We lured him out with ice cream cake so that Mike could grab some dinner. Then back in again.

The kid LOVES the water, as I did when I was a little fish his age. This was probably his last swim of the season since the public pools closed a month ago (!). Next summer we’re going to get a public pool pass for the summer and make the most of it.
